My goodness! Good gravy! Holy smokes! By George! I had a phenomenal drip coffee. Complex, fresh, and a pretty unique roast to have on drip. My wife got a Hojicha drink that was bananas good. And glass to go cups is so bonkers cool. I was so impressed.

Stopped by this cute coffee shop because after reading the reviews I was convinced! Love the sustainability with the reuseable glass jars for to go beverages. The atmosphere was a bit loud today, I would have preferred a quieter, calmer space but we ended up walking around outside the shop. Excellent customer service!

Visited on the way through Des Moines by recommendation from a trusted friend in coffee. These folks are making neat stuff! If you like fussy coffee, you’ll be happy, but they do the simple stuff well too.

Solid coffee and non-coffee options here with solid vibes. Love that the takeaway jar doesn't come with an up-charge. Got a plain latte while my pal got an iced hojicha and both tasted great. Glad we stopped by while driving through Des Moines.

This place quickly became my favourite coffee experience in Des Moines. We went back a few times. First off, while they do have dairy milk, everything is vegan by default. As someone with a dairy allergy, pumpkin spice lattes haven’t been a thing in my life for quite sometime as nearly all have dairy in the sauce. NO MORE! Horizon had the BEST pumpkin latte ever. It reminds me of the Starbs PSL if it had a glow up and was drinkable by everyone. We also had the Golden Snitch and the Maple Malt Latte. Amazing. 20/10 for sure. The also have several vegan scones and they are divine. Vegan or not, GO HERE!!

This is the best quality coffee in Des Moines! And I LOVE the staff and the neighborhood vibe. I love that they serve their drinks in glass instead of disposable cups, and that they've made jar cozies with the staff's pets on them. This is such a cool place. Also, the scones are delicious and surprisingly soft. If you don't like scones because they're dry please try these and you will not be disappointed.

To preface, I have been a barista/ cafe manager for 5 years and my hobby is trying new coffee shops in every city I visit. I stopped on a road trip down south from Minneapolis to visit family and I am so impressed. I have tried every coffee shop in the Twin Cities and this place blows them, and honestly any other cafe I’ve been to, all out of the water. By far the best espresso I’ve ever had. This will now be a permanent stop on any road trips that passes through this part of Iowa. If you have the chance, you need stop by!

Visited from out of town, and the baristas were so friendly! The malted maple latte is easily one of the best I’ve had — perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with a hint of salt. I also love their glass jar concept; ordered an americano to-go, and it came in a cute jar that I get to keep and reuse
